Signing of partnership agreement with the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports

On June 6, 2022, at the headquarters of the EMC-Helpline assistance line of the Morocco cyberconfidence Space, a partnership agreement was signed between the Moroccan Center for Polytechnic Research and Innovation – CMRPI and the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports, in the presence of Mrs. Carmen Morte Gomez, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Rabat. This partnership aims to frame and strengthen collaboration between the two parties for the protection of children online in the school environment, including raising awareness about cybersecurity in schools and the risks of the digital world, as well as training dedicated teams of resource teachers in the prevention of cyber violence and the handling of cases of cyberbullying among children and youth. The agreement was signed on the Ministry of National Education’s side by Mrs. Ilham Laaziz Matlti, Director of the Engineering Program, and by Prof. Youssef Bentaleb, President of CMRPI and Director of the Morocco cyberconfidence Space. During this meeting, some teachers were present, as well as representatives from the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports in Rabat and Kenitra, and the team from the Morocco cyberconfidence Space EMC.
